Thagchokling Dharma & Retreat Center - Rooms

Rooms:

7 sunny rooms (2 and 3 beds, one dorm with 6 beds) are simply furnished and can accommodate 16 guests. If needed, more rooms are available close by with local hosts.

Bathrooms:

3 modern bathrooms with hot water are most welcome when you return from jeep-excursions or trekking-tours.

Prayer-room:

The resident lama celebrates the daily pujas (prayer ceremony) in this temple-like roof-top hall.
It is always open for seekers of peace and quiet and for meditation. For special occasions monks from the main monastery Likir come to celebrate pujas that last for a day or longer.

Dining room:

The dining room invites to enjoy the meals together and to exchange ideas. A small library offers a variety of books and there are always Thermos bottles with different teas.

Alcoholic beverages and cigarettes are not allowed in the retreat. However, if it is too difficult to do without one can take a bottle of beer from the village shop and smoke a cigarette next to the river.
